Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you — and, where you use Buckhy for an organisation, that organisation — and Zettaura Innovations Private Limited, 4, Bharat Naagr, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India – 641015 (“Zettaura”, “we”, “us”). They apply to Buckhy Chat, Buckhy Mail, the Buckhy developer platform and our websites (the “Services”).

By creating an account or using the Services you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you accept on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have the authority to bind it.

• You must be at least 18 and use the Services for business or professional purposes.
• Your Buckhy account is a Zettaura account. Keep your sign-in methods (codes, passkeys) secure and complete step-up verification when asked.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and must tell us promptly about any unauthorised use.
• Workspace administrators may manage members, mailboxes, domains and billing for their organisation.

• Buckhy Chat — an AI assistant workspace for chat, images, video, voice and memory.
• Buckhy Mail — mail management for addresses you already have (Google Workspace or Gmail, Microsoft 365 or Outlook, or IMAP/SMTP providers) and for addresses Buckhy hosts on your own domain, with AI monitoring, triage and drafting.
• Developer platform — APIs and tools documented at developers.buckhy.com, subject to the limits stated there.

We keep improving the Services and may add, change or retire features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce a paid feature.

You own your mail, documents, domains and other content. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display that content solely to provide the Services to you and as you instruct.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions you need — for example, to connect a mailbox you administer, to send to your recipients, and to authorise DNS changes on a domain.

Email is a shared system; abuse by one sender harms everyone’s deliverability. You agree not to:

• Send unsolicited bulk email, use purchased or scraped lists, or send to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
• Forge headers, spoof senders or otherwise misrepresent the origin of a message.
• Send malware, phishing, fraud, harassment or other unlawful or harmful content.
• Circumvent sending limits, security controls or authentication.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape or resell the Services, or use them to build a competing product.

You must comply with the anti-spam and data-protection laws that apply to you and your recipients (for example CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR and PECR, and India’s IT Act and Rules). We may throttle, suspend or terminate sending to protect the platform and its users.

• Hosted domains. You must own or control any domain you add. We prepare the DNS records; you are responsible for authorising and maintaining them.
• Connected providers. Mailboxes connected from Google, Microsoft or other providers remain subject to those providers’ terms. You can disconnect at any time.
• Deliverability. We follow industry authentication standards, but we cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered, accepted or not filtered by receiving systems.
• Migration. If you replace an existing provider with Buckhy, keep your own backup until you have confirmed the migration is complete.
• Limits. Plans include storage, mailbox, domain and sending limits. Exceeding them may require an upgrade.

• AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Review everything before you rely on it.
• Buckhy is approval-first: drafts and actions are proposals until you approve them or configure an automation. You are responsible for what you send and for the actions you approve or automate.
• AI features are not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
• AI usage may be subject to plan limits and fair-use safeguards.

Some features require a paid plan. You agree to pay the fees, taxes (including GST where applicable) and charges for the plan you select. Payments on the web are processed by Razorpay. Plans bought in the Buckhy Mail Android app are billed by Google Play, and Google Play’s terms also apply to those purchases. We do not store card details.

• One-time plans. Buckhy Chat plans (Pro and Max) and the Buckhy Mail Mailbox plan are paid in advance for the period you choose, monthly or yearly, and do not renew automatically. A plan ends with the period you paid for unless you pay for another one. If you move to a higher plan before your period ends, the value of the unused time is added to the new plan as extra time.
• Subscriptions. Buckhy Mail Business and Flex plans are subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Free trials. The Buckhy Mail Business plan includes a 14-day free trial. A free trial becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then. Starting a trial authorizes your payment method for the renewals; apart from any small, refundable authorization by the payment provider, nothing is charged during the trial. Each organization owner can use one free trial.
• Price changes. We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply from your next renewal or your next purchase.
• Plan limits. Plans include limits (for example seats, mailboxes, domains, storage and AI usage). Exceeding them may require an upgrade or additional fees.

If an enterprise order form applies, it may modify or supersede specific billing terms.

Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; access continues through the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout or in an enterprise order form. One-time plans have no renewal to cancel: they end with the period you paid for. Purchases made through Google Play are also subject to Google Play’s refund policies.

If you believe you were billed incorrectly, or you want to request a refund, contact support@buckhy.com. We review billing issues in good faith and correct mistakes. Refunds are provided only where required by applicable law.

• You may close your account at any time from your account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, abuse, non-payment, legal risk, or to protect the Services and their users. Where practical we will notify you first.
• On termination your right to use the Services ends. You may export your data before closure; afterwards it is deleted within 90 days as described in the Privacy Policy, except records we must keep by law.

Zettaura owns the Services, including the Buckhy name, logos and software. These Terms grant you no rights other than the right to use the Services as described. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

We treat your content as confidential and process it only as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You agree to keep non-public information about the Services (such as security details or pre-release features) confidential.

The Services interoperate with third-party services you choose to connect — Google, Microsoft, payment providers such as Razorpay and Google Play, and others. Their terms govern your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or conduct.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any message will be delivered.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zettaura will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Services in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the Services in that period. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You will defend and indemnify Zettaura against claims, damages and costs arising from your content, your use of the Services in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Services, subject to any rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.

Each version of these Terms carries a version number and effective date. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the product. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means the updated Terms apply.
