1.In short
- Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable.
- Cancelling a plan that renews stops its future renewals. Access continues through the end of your current billing period, unless your checkout or an enterprise order form says otherwise.
- Buckhy Chat Pro and Max, and the Buckhy Mail Mailbox plan, are paid in advance and never renew automatically. They end with the period you paid for unless you pay for another one.
- If you believe you were billed incorrectly, contact support@buckhy.com. We review billing issues in good faith and correct mistakes.
- Purchases made through Google Play also follow Google Play’s refund policies.
2.How each plan is billed
- Buckhy Chat Pro and Max. A one-time payment for the period you choose, monthly or yearly. The plan does not renew automatically: when the period ends, your account returns to Free unless you buy again.
- Buckhy Mail Business and Flex. Subscriptions for an organization, billed through Razorpay on the web, or through Google Play when bought in the Buckhy Mail Android app. They renew at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Business offers a 14-day free trial.
- Buckhy Mail Mailbox. A hosted mailbox for a personal workspace, paid in advance for the period you choose. It is never charged automatically: you renew it yourself with a new payment.
Payments on the web are processed by Razorpay, as the “Fees and billing” section of our Terms of Service describes; we do not store card details. Plans bought in the Buckhy Mail Android app are billed by Google Play, and Google Play’s own terms apply to those purchases (see “Third-party services” in the Terms).
We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; a new price applies from your next renewal. If an enterprise order form applies, it may modify or supersede specific billing terms.
3.Free trials
The Buckhy Mail Business plan offers a 14-day free trial. The “Fees and billing” section of our Terms of Service sets these rules for free trials:
- A free trial becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before then.
- Starting a trial authorizes your payment method for the renewals. Apart from any small, refundable authorization by the payment provider, nothing is charged during the trial.
- Each organization owner can use one free trial.
Cancel before the trial ends and you are not charged.
4.How to cancel
- Buckhy Mail Business or Flex, bought on the web. An organization owner can cancel from the plan page in Buckhy Mail settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and the plan stays on through the end of the current billing period.
- Buckhy Mail plans bought on Android. Cancel from your subscriptions in Google Play. Google Play’s terms apply to subscriptions bought there.
- Buckhy Mail Mailbox. It is never charged automatically, so no cancellation is needed: if you don’t renew it, paid service ends with the period you paid for.
- Buckhy Chat Pro and Max. There is nothing to cancel. The plan ends when the period you paid for ends, and your account returns to Free.
You can also close your Buckhy account at any time from your account settings, as “Term, suspension and termination” in the Terms describes.
5.Refunds
Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable, as the “Refunds and cancellations” section of our Terms of Service sets out. This applies to one-time payments and subscription payments alike. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current billing period, and you keep access until that period ends.
When you start a free trial or authorize a later charge, the payment provider may take a small, refundable amount to check your payment method.
Purchases made through Google Play are also subject to Google Play’s refund policies. You can request a refund of a Google Play purchase through Google Play, or write to us.
Nothing on this page limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law where you live.
6.Billing problems and refund requests
If you believe you were billed incorrectly, or you want to request a refund, contact support@buckhy.com. We review billing issues in good faith and correct mistakes. Refunds are provided only where required by applicable law.
To help us find the payment, include:
- the email address of your Buckhy account and, for Buckhy Mail, the workspace the plan is for;
- the product and plan, and the date and amount of the payment;
- the payment reference from your receipt, such as the Razorpay payment ID or the Google Play order number.
Never send card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs, passwords or one-time codes.
7.The Terms of Service apply
