Account deletion
Delete your Buckhy account.
One Buckhy account signs you in to Mail, Chat and every other Buckhy app. Here is how to delete it and what happens to your data.
01 / Delete it yourself
Delete it from your Buckhy settings.
Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. In the Buckhy Mail app, Settings and then Account bring you to these steps.
Sign in to Buckhy
Go to app.buckhy.com and sign in with the account you want to delete.
Open Settings, then Data controls
Choose Delete account. For your security, you may be asked to sign in again; then finish within 10 minutes.
Confirm
Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted and you are signed out on every device.
02 / Your data
What happens to your data.
- Your profile, Buckhy conversations, saved memories, uploaded and generated files, notifications and connected mailboxes are deleted.
- Buckhy's access to your Google or Microsoft account is removed. Mail stored by Google, Microsoft or another provider stays with that provider.
- Deleted content, credentials and tokens are removed from our active systems within 90 days.
- Records the law requires us to keep, such as payments and invoices, are retained for the period the law requires.
Can't sign in?
Ask us to delete it.
Email us from the address on your Buckhy account and ask us to delete the account.
